Gemma Roxas – Escultor,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.2.169-16984.]

This study contemplated the significance of the Filipinos Vernacular Languages whom the author mocked the promulgated constitutional decree which demean the importance of “Filipino”  as their medium of in communicating their fellow countrymen particularly those with difficulties in using other languages (foreign languages) as their language. Though English language is undeniably credible as a vehicle onward to universal understanding, but for some Philippines citizens still Filipino’s vernacular should be preserve for tribal satisfaction, this study partake to persuade also the government, those policy-makers that it is everyone’s natural right, that every citizen of the country should not be deprive of their will to speak with their ethnic dialect. Thereby using this purposive research the Filipinos’ with difficulties to speak other foreign language could at least be given the chances of expressing his/her taught completely without any hesitation as it is also expresses of what Dr. Jose Rizal emphasized that “Ang hindi raw marunong mag mahal sa kanyang sariling wika, ay higit pa na mabaho sa malansang isda”. This study reflective to be indirectly exclusive to Filipinos yet it is not limited to those nearby foreingn citizenship who were interested to Philippines languages.

Yu Wenqi, Shao Jinju*, LI Xunyi, Wei Guo, Sun Ke, Guo Junchao,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.2.19506]

With the growth of the national economy and the improvement of people's living standards, as a convenient means of transportation, the number of automobiles has increased rapidly every year. But the increase in traffic safety accidents has caused huge losses to people's lives and property. Therefore, car safety assisted driving technology and driverless technology can well avoid traffic safety accidents caused by drivers. Conflict early warning strategies are divided into two parts: conflict risk assessment and early warning strategy selection. For the study of a large number of single early warning strategies that only consider braking or lane changing, this article considers multiple early warning strategies and uses four early warning strategies: maintaining the current state of driving, Research on early warning strategies for deceleration, emergency braking, and lane change driving at a certain deceleration speed, and the judgment and setting of the switching timing of the four early warning strategies, so that the four early warning strategies can be accurately switched, which is more important for solving traffic conflicts. Meet the real traffic environment.

Determination of Flowing Bottom-Hole Pressure of a Well Using Modified Guo’s Model

Clinton Ayomiposi AKINSEYE, Oluwagbenga Olawale OMOTARA and Abdulwahab GIWA,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.2.27086.]

Well modelling is very important in efficient management of oil and gas production. A major factor contributing to this process is accurate estimation of the flowing bottom-hole pressure at the formation as this helps in various petroleum production engineering analysis. Some of these analyses include studies on vertical lift performance (VLP) and inflow performance (IP). The effective determination of bottom-hole pressure has been a major concern in the oil industry due to several reasons because it can either be measured or estimated. In the case of measurement, a pressure gauge is needed down-hole; this is very accurate but expensive and time consuming. As such, an alternative and accurate method is required. For this reason, this work has been carried out to focus on determining the flowing bottom-hole pressure from wellhead data by modifying and, thereafter, simulating the modified Guo’s model with the aid of MATLAB. The results obtained showed that the model was simple and effective to use as it required little computing time. The method of bottom-hole pressure determination developed in this work, using the modified model, was also found to be relatively accurate when applied to simulation of multiphase flow in vertical heavy oil wells and high gas-oil ratio wells. However, low gas-oil ratio wells and water producing wells fell short of the accuracy of the estimation of pressure.">

In order to reduce the pedestrian damage in the collision of people and vehicles, the rear end of the hood is raised by 0 mm, 110 mm, 130 mm, and the collision of people and vehicles under three kinds of collision conditions is simulated, then the dummy head and chest are applied. The damage results were compared and analysed: the maximum acceleration of the dummy head was reduced by 22.01% and 55.22% respectively, and the head injury HIC values were reduced from 2605 to 1433,632 respectively, when the back of the cover was lifted by 110 mm and 130 mm. The maximum acceleration of the chest was reduced by 3.32% and 12.05%, respectively. The results show that lifting the hood in the collision of people and vehicles can effectively reduce pedestrian damage.

Influence of HIPS Strengthened Story and Trend on Performance of Flexible Spoke Wheels

Jingwei Feng,Xuemeng Liang,Yu Zhang,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.2.29505]

Comparing the analysis on the mechanical properties of non-pneumatic tires in home and abroad, structural heterogeneity is one of the main factors affecting the performance of non-pneumatic tires. The stiffness of the support and tread also have a greater impact on the performance of non-pneumatic tires. For certain materials, the factors that affect the stiffness of the tread are the size of the strengthened story and the thickness of the tread. In view of the influence of the stiffness of tread on the performance of flexible spoke wheels, this paper analyzes the performance of flexible spoke wheels based on ABAQUS on the HIPS strengthened story and the size of the tread structure. The results show that increasing the stiffness of the tread can reduce tire sinking and improve the load-bearing capacity. Reducing the deformation of the tire can ensure the structural stability of the support body, thereby reducing the maximum stress value of the support body. Reducing the grounding area and increasing the grounding pressure can improve the uniformity of the grounding pressure distribution.

Nonlinear vibration time-delayed control of Nano-beam based on CMUT sensing

WAN Lei, LIU Canchang and Kong Weixu,[DOI: 10.24214/jecet.C.9.2.30613.]

A time-delayed control method based on capacitive micro-mechanical ultrasonic transducer (CMUT for short) is proposed in order to control the nonlinear vibration problems of nano-beam. The device has the advantages of small size and high sensitivity, which can apply to the vibration signals detection. The time-delayed control equation of nonlinear vibration of nano-beam is established and the vibration of nano-beam is controlled by electrostatic feedback controller. The multi-scale method is used to solve the system differential equation. The results show that the nonlinear vibration of the system can be weakened or even eliminated by selecting appropriate parameters.
